Adhiguna Kuncoro is a Research Master’s student at the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Language Technologies Institute, School of Computer Science. His research interests lie in the area of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and machine learning. He is funded by a Graduate Research Fellowship at CMU, through the DARPA Low-Resource Languages for Emergent Incidents (LORELEI) Project, and previously did research internships at the Nara Institute of Science & Technology, Japan and the University of Washington, Seattle. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, where he served as the President of the ITB Informatics Student Union (HMIF ITB). He is currently serving as the President of Indonesians (PERMIAS) @ CMU. He enjoys traveling to new places and Scuba diving in his spare time.

Agus is a doctoral student in Human Development and Family Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. He is interested in examining the intersection among stress, health, and socioeconomic status. Specifically, he is interested in analyzing the interactions among daily stress, socioeconomic status, and health in the context of economic downturn. In addition, he is also interested in studying the biological aspects of daily stress and its relations to health, socioeconomic status, and macro-economic condition. Agus earned his bachelor degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Bogor Agricultural University. He also holds a master’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies from Purdue University. He is a moviegoer and enjoy playing badminton and table tennis in his spare times.

He is also a data science enthusiast with extensive knowledge on large scale database systems and an aspiring member of Data Science Indonesia community. Previously, he was a junior manager of payment and collection in Telkom's Central Borneo Regional Office, safeguarding the company revenues and cash in flows through utilizing digital tools.

His field of interest revolves around international policy on bank capital adequacy, under which topic he presented his paper at an international conference held at the University of Oxford. Albert Christian Soewongsono was born in Kupang on April 15th, 1997. He currently holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Mathematical Analysis from Nusa Cendana University. Prior to this year, he has received scholarship from LPDP to continue his study for a Master's program at the Australian National University on next year. He previously worked as a teaching assistant at the Department of Mathematics at his previous university and as a student mentor in the UniBRIDGE Program, a web-based language and cultural exchange program funded by Australia-Indonesia Institute and Australia's DFAT between his university and some Australian universities.Currently, he actively engages in several community-based organizations, such as MITRA (Eastern Indonesian Students Foreign Relations) as the advisor, and AIYA (Australia-Indonesia Youth Association) Chapter East Nusa Tenggara as the treasurer.

Ariana Alisjahbana is a recent MBA graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Originally trained as an economist with a BA from Boston University, Ariana started her career at the global think tank World Resources Institute (WRI) in Washington, DC. At WRI, she led the creation of the institute’s first Southeast Asian office and worked with the governments of the United States, Indonesia, and Singapore on environmental issues. Fascinated by her experience developing Global Forest Watch, Ariana decided to pursue an MBA focusing on the internet industry. Ariana completed her MBA internship at Google, where she was part of a global team that developed the new Allo Messenger app. After Google, she interned at Yik Yak, a location-based social media company. Currently, Ariana works for Alibaba, the Chinese internet giant.

Armina Padmasawitri is a Ph.D. candidate of The Pharmacoepidemiology and Clinical Pharmacology Division at Utrecht University, The Netherlands. Armina completed her pharmacist education and training, as well as her master degree from School of Pharmacy, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. During her bachelor and master study, Armina was involved in several pharmacoeconomics researches. Beside her study, she was also active in the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (IPSF), as well as other pharmacy and health related students’ organizations. Currently, Armina’s research focus is on the health economic evaluation of Tuberculosis management in High Burden Countries, which is supported by the government of Indonesia through Indonesia Endowment for Education (LPDP). She is also interested in the application of health economic evaluation in Low-Middle Income Countries.

Cazadira Fediva Tamzil holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree from the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Indonesia. Best Graduate of both her Department and Faculty, Cazadira’s main academic interests lie on the power of civil societies and non-conventional International Relations issues. She was Student Body President in Junior and Senior High School - denouncing pessimism towards gender equality and political leadership. In University, she decided to voice out solutions for global issues through Model United Nations – becoming the ‘Best Delegate’ in the 2013 European International MUN (TEIMUN), as well as Chair in both the 2014 TEIMUN and the 2015 Harvard World Model United Nations. In 2015, Cazadira reached the pinnacle of her leadership journey when she was named McKinsey’s Young Leader for Indonesia. Active as a Teaching and Research Assistant since her 6th semester in University, she aspires to be a leading social science scholar. Her first book which she co-wrote with her lecturers on the dynamics of the Arctic Region was published by RajaGrafindo in May 2016, and another one on Global Environmental Governance is up for publication this year. Cazadira is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), with a full scholarship from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education. All seriousness aside, Cazadira loves to travel and splendor in reality television shows.

While completing her dissertation, she is also working with one of the IT start-up companies which is based in UK to develop social media marketing strategies recommendations. She had previously worked in the risk consulting division in one of the global consulting firms and responsible to promote the quality and risk management practices across Southeast Asia. During her tenure there, she also worked as lecturer assistant in one of the private universities in Jakarta and actively involved in CSR activities done by company. She won some awards in Deloitte Indonesia and Southeast Asia such as The Most Helpful Person of The Year Award (June 2015), The winner of Southeast Asia Enterprise Risk Services (SEA ERS) Leap Innovation Challenge (March 2014) and The 1st winner of top voters of Southeast Asia Enterprise Risk Services (SEA ERS) Talent Challenge (January 2014). Her passion in education field can also be seen through some activities she did during the weekend such as teaching English for street children. Ghazi Binarandi received an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 2016 and a B.S. from the Department of Civil Engineering at Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2012. During his time at Purdue, he worked at IISL (Intelligent Infrastructure Systems Laboratory). In the summer of 2016, he studied at the University of Cambridge for a three-week summer school program, APESS. In Cambridge, he also presented a conference paper co-authored by him at the ANCRiSST 2016 (12th International Workshop on Advanced Smart Materials and Smart Structures Technology) and attended the ICSIC (International Conference on Smart Infrastructure and Construction). He has interests in theater and cycling. He directed a lenong (traditional Betawi theater) titled “Lara Dasima” in 2010 and once traveled from Bandung to Jakarta using a bicycle in 2012.

During his college time, he won many hackathons and tech competition in US, Japan, and Indonesia. Before coming to Cornell, he was working in Tokyo, Japan, for more than 3 years in Toshiba's Smart EV Charging business. He also interned at the same company for Japan's bullet train (shinkansen) division, and General Electric in New York. He is currently working as software engineer in Silicon Valley for VMware, a cloud company, while founding a tech startup in Indonesia.

She was a mentee at Indonesia Mengglobal in 2015 and is now excited to work with two mentees eyeing for philosophy and social policy degrees. She has worked in multilateral organisations, political risk consultancy and most recently was a policy officer at the British Embassy Jakarta where she advised governance policies and assessed bilateral economic governance projects. She has just been back from China, leading the Indonesian delegation for the Youth 20 Summit, one of four engagement groups within the G20 focusing on youth-orientated policy recommendations for the G20 Leaders Summit in September. A dog person, her drink of choice is coffee, with milk, no sugar.

During her undergraduate studies at Universitas Indonesia, she interned with the commercial litigation and Indonesian practice desks of Rajah & Tann LLP, Singapore. Kamia Handayani is a PhD researcher at Department of Governance and Technology for Sustainability (CSTM), University of Twente, the Netherlands. Her research is focused on climate change mitigation and adaptation in the Indonesian power sector. She holds a Master of Science (Cum Laude) in Energy and Environmental Management from University of Twente and a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung. Kamia has worked as environmental specialist at PT PLN (Persero), the National Power Company of Indonesia since 2005. Her contributions in this company include formulating quantitative measurement for evaluating environmental management performances of PLN’s business units all over Indonesia. Furthermore, Kamia contributed to the development of climate change mitigation policy of the company. Kamia has extensive experiences on clean development mechanism (CDM) and verified carbon standard (VCS) projects starting from project initiation until issuance of carbon credits.

Michael has a Physics BSc from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and a Materials Science & Engineering PhD from Carnegie Mellon (Pittsburgh, USA). He has worked on very diverse research areas, spanning from magnetism, sensors, ultrafast lasers, solar cells, OLEDs, power transformers, electric motors, and semiconductors. Michael is currently a Design Enablement engineer at GlobalFoundries in upstate New York, USA. In this role, he is responsible for analysis, documentation, and management of semiconductor design rules. Michael enjoys talking with people from different walks of life, making new friends, learning new technologies. He is a big believer of continuous learning and limitless capacity of human mind. In his spare time, Michael enjoys arm-wrestling, hiking, and chatting with friends over a good coffee. Nadya Intan Kemala is an LPDP Awardee and currently pursuing her MA in International Development at the University of Sheffield, UK. Her passion and goals to be a professional development practitioner has emerged since she was an International Relations student at Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia. In her undergrad period, she has actively been involved as a liaison officer coordinator in many event such as 'YOURS' (a motivational youth seminar combined with cinematography experience), Jatinangor Education Care (JEC-social movement and event organiser) and 'Symphonesia' (HI Unpad biggest music and seminar). She was also being chosen as a delegation for Ajou University-South Korea Spring Semester Exchange Program and JENESYS Batch 18 Tokyo-Kumamoto. Expected to graduate in this September, she is looking forward to set up her long term plan to establish a Community Based Organisation (CBO) and sociopreneurship focusing on sustainable rural-agricultural development. Naimah had almost two years of experience in Edelman Indonesia, a strategic communication consultancy, at the Corporate and Public Affairs Division. Before joining Edelman, Naimah accomplished one year of social work through a not-for-profit organization called Indonesia Mengajar, which allowed her to teach children in Sangihe archipelago, North Sulawesi. She was the communication officer for Telkomsigma, the largest Data Center and IT Managed Services provider in Indonesia. Graduated with Cum Laude predicate from Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Indonesia (UI), she is experienced in the fields of public affairs, social and communication research, policy review, as well as stakeholder mappings. Nuning Hallett (or Nuning Purwaningrum) is a Ph.D. Candidate in Global Gender Studies at State University of New York at Buffalo. She received Fulbright scholarship, University at Buffalo Presidential Fellowship, and Margaret McNamara Memorial Funds for her Ph.D. program. Her main research focuses on mixed-nationality marriages, migration, virtual activism among Indonesian women migrants and citizenship. Her academic interests stemmed from her advocacy and intervention works for Indonesian women in transnational marriage for 12 years. She is the initiator of limited-dual citizenship for children, an idea that was adopted in the newly amended Indonesian Citizenship laws 2006. While completing her Ph.D. degree, she is managing “Komunitas Kawin Campur”, a network of 4,000 Indonesian marriage migrants living all over the world and serving as one of coordinators for petition of Dual Citizenship for Indonesian Diaspora, which was submitted in CID 2012 in Los Angeles.

He is currently pursuing a research doctorate at HSPH to further his work on the public health aspects of dengue fever. Practicing medicine in Indonesia, Panji diagnosed and treated dengue infections, but he felt called to do more from a public health viewpoint. Panji has prepared himself for a dissertation that will gauge the need for a dengue vaccine in Indonesia and show how a vaccine program can be delivered in Indonesia by using a mathematical model to gauge its potential impact to dengue transmission.

Ratnaganadi Paramita is an senior undergraduate student majoring in Cognitive Science (Neuroscience) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She is a recipient of a 4-year-long full undergraduate scholarship from the Eka Tjipta Foundation. Ms. Paramit is a Student Researcher at the UCSD Center for Human Development under the supervision of Terry Jernigan, Ph.D. and Erik Newman, Ph.D. She's currently developing the REaCh Task, a newly Learning Disabilities Research Hub study funded by the US National Institute of Health (NIH). Her works involve code and software development of the task, experimental design and stimulus development. She is also currently involved in the data processing of five studies under the Pediatric Longitudinal Imaging, Neurocognition, and Genetics Study (PLING) project. As part of PLING, she also started being involved in the administration of experimental and standardized test on children. In addition, she is also currently involved in the software development of an EEG study on math anxiety. Besides her academic and scientific interests, she is also a professional theatre performer and classical singer. 15 years of singing and 10 years of theater experience have made art an inseparable part of her. At the age of 12 and 14, she received gold medals in the Asia-Pacific Festival of Children's Theatre, Japan (2004), and the 9th World Festival of Children's Performing Arts (2006). These brought her the Satyalancana Wirakarya Award from the President of Indonesia. In 2008, her theater performance in Monaco for the 14th World Festival of Amateur Theatre also yield Certificate of Appreciation from the Prince of Monaco Now, she's currently a Music Minor (Vocal Performance) at UCSD where she receives professional lessons from Philip Larson and the late violin maestro Janos Negyesky. While productively performing for UCSD concerts each quarter, she also maintains her theatre activities. In 2012 and 2013, she was chosen to be the Director of Music for "Cindelaras" - an original production by Satu Kata Performing Arts Group. This production was performed in the International Festival of Children's Performing Arts, Japan, and the 1st China-ASEAN Theatre Festival, China, respectively.

Yunetta managed international development programs for several years at the United Nations and the Association for Southeast Asian Nations, before moving to New York to work in financial services. She earned her M.A. in Political Science at KU Leuven, in Belgium, with an Academic Excellence scholarship from the Inter-University Council for Development Cooperation. Yunetta enjoys writing and has published her work at the Jakarta Post and Asia News.

Zhafira Loebis holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Columbia University School of Law, New York City, in 2011. She is currently working as a corporate lawyer at Soewito Suhardiman Eddymurthy Kardono law firm in Jakarta. During her time in NYC, she was an active member of the Indonesian Columbia Students Associations and held events promoting Indonesian culture in NYC.     setelah saya lulus saya ingin melanjutkan s2 di luar indo,,,namu kendalanya saya kurang bisa dalam berbahasa ingris.. ada solusi kah??

      sekarang ini era teknologi informasi mas, mestinya kalau masalah Bahasa Inggris, sudah terjawabkan jika mas pintar2 mencari informasi di internet

      sama mas, saya juga semester 6 dan berkeinginan s2 di luar negeri, saya gak mahir berbahasa inggris, tapi saya pede dan tiap hari wajib speak english sama seorang temen se kosan(walaupun sering diejek, cz bhs inggrisnya kacau hehehe) n baca jurnal english, hasilnya saya bisa jadi transleter dan lolos training ke Singapore bulan july depan, Semangat mas Alviano, kuncinya jangan malu coba bicara bahasa inggris, tapi harus tiap hari :)

      ke Kampung Inggris di Pare Kediri aja mas. masuk ke Basic English Course (BEC) atau Happy English Course (HEC) ambil program BTC-CTC & TC, Insyaallah lancar bahasa inggris dalam berbicara, membaca, dan memahami.
      Disana banyak orang yang mempersiapkan diri utk sekolah atau bekerja keluar negri.
