Meet the Team
Board of Advisor
Veni Johanna is currently Engineering Manager at Quora, a US-based startup that aims to grow and share the world’s knowledge. She graduated from Stanford University, California, with BS MS in Computer Science. In high school, Veni is the first female Indonesian representative at the International Olympiad in Informatics, where she received a silver medal.
Board of Advisor
Martin Tjioe is currently working as a geomechanicist with Shell Exploration and Production Company in New Orleans, LA. He attained his MS and PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University. For his undergraduate study, he went to Lafayette College, a small Liberal Arts College in Easton, Pennsylvania where he had a chance to double major in A.B. Mathematics & Economics, and B.S. Civil Engineering. He is fortunate to have received full financial aid to study both at Lafayette and Stanford and he encourages other Indonesian students to look into these opportunities. Prior to studying in the U.S., he was an ASEAN scholar studying in Singapore's Victoria School (VS) and National Junior College (NJC). He is from Medan, and he is passionate about helping talented students obtain the quality education they deserve.
Board of Advisor
Donny Eryastha is Head of Public Policy at TikTok, driving government relations and policy initiatives for Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Donny most recently led Public Policy for Facebook in Indonesia, where he was at the forefront of driving policy and regulatory programs, tackling issues such as digital literacy, data localization, counter-terrorism and more. Prior to Facebook, Donny has also served as a strategic policy and economics adviser in leading organizations such as the World Bank, AUSAID (Australian Government Overseas Aid Program) and Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), among others.
Donny holds a Masters of Public Administration in International Development from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in the USA.

Stevia Angesty earned her M.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Stanford University in 2012 and B.S. (Hon) in Chemistry with dual minor in Business and Materials Science & Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2010. She currently runs Feelwell (FWC), a social venture focusing on providing affordable sanitation solutions. Previously, she worked in McKinsey and Sinarmas.
Tiffany Robyn Soetikno
Board of Advisor
Robyn co-founded and currently leads PT GUE, Indonesia’s leading digital health ecosystem that made Teman Bumil and Teman Diabetes. Her efforts focus on improving the lives of expecting mothers and children ages 0-3 years old; as well as diabetics. She earned a Bachelors of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College, NY, where she studied Global Health and Theatre. Most recently, she graduated from Imperial College Business School with a postgraduate degree in International Health Management. Robyn also published a bilingual children’s book series called I Am Me Series.
Artricia Marina Rasyid
Board of Advisor
Artricia is a Senior Policy Analyst to the Chief of Staff for the Governor of Jakarta where she manages several variables of urban regeneration (health, international cooperation, SGDs, and transportation). Artricia dual majored in anthropology and comparative literature at New York University. At NYU, Artricia was an Alvin H. Zagor scholar and a recipient of the Annette B. Weiner prize for excellence in social anthropology as well as the Phi Beta Kappa prize for best thesis. She obtained her MPhil in Social Anthropology (medical track) from the University of Cambridge as an LPDP awardee.
Siti Octrina Malikah
Siti Octrina Malikah, commonly called Riri, completed her Master of Public Policy at the University of Auckland, New Zealand with a full scholarship from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). She spent 2 years in Hong Kong working with PathFinders Ltd. to assist vulnerable migrant mothers and their children who had no access to documentation, healthcare and justice. Previously she also worked for the UN Migration Agency, IOM Indonesia, to implement works related to counter trafficking and labour migration initiatives where she also provided extensive assistance to victims of labour and/or sexual exploitation. After moving back to Jakarta early 2019, she leads and coordinates interesting social projects with businesses to end child labour within their supply chains and to ensure the young workers have proper access to decent and meaningful work opportunities.
Putri Nandi Pinta Agusria
Director of Analytics
Pinta is a strategist in Financial and Digital industries and currently serve as Marketing Strategy in XL Axiata. Graduated from BINUS University in Business Management, she started her career as a consultant at Deloitte and spent 3 years of her professional career at Financial Technology start-ups in Indonesia. Her volunteer journey began when she and her friend created an initiative called “Lean-in Without Limits” a forum where individuals can share their opinions about gender equality, cultural barriers and opportunity gaps in today’s society.
Director of Communications
Dytha is now based in France after finishing her master degree in Université Paris II, Panthéon-Assas majored in media & communication. She completed her double-bachelor’s degrees from Universitas Indonesia in French literature and from INALCO, Paris in intercultural communication. She is currently working as Digital Communication Specialist in a multinational company in health equipment industry based in Paris. In her spare time, she likes to read tarot cards and astrology @inizodiakamu that have been a part of her activities for years, listening to audiobooks, and volunteering in France.
Indira is a software developer currently based in Boston. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brown University in 2015, and prior to that, she attended community college in Seattle and secondary school in Singapore. She is a lead at the Women Who Code Boston chapter and is passionate about using technology to make education and knowledge more accessible. In her spare time, you can find Indira scuba diving, taking photos and exploring new places.
Grace Eugenia Sameve
Director of Mentorship
Grace is a Jakarta-based Developmental & Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychologist. After completing her postgraduate training in Developmental Psychology at the Teachers College, Columbia University in 2013. At the age of 21, she started to work on accomplishing her aspiration to see that every child and adolescent in Indonesia develops healthily, happily, optimally and securely to become the best version of him- or her-self by conducting psychological assessments, therapies, coaching and consultancy. Grace appreciates art, personal stories and history, enjoys reading non-fiction books and would crave for tempe and Allen’s party mix every now and then
Director of Events and Partnership
He graduated from Universitas Indonesia majoring in Communications Science and has been consistently working in public relations and communications field for more than 7 years. He started his career as an intern in UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, followed by his first full-time job as an Associate in Maverick Communications Consulting Firm as well as Communications and Partnership Lead in Ruangguru.com. He is currently working as Public Relations and Event Associate in Nutrifood. His interest in social causes also leads him to found PR for Social Impact in 2016, a pro-bono PR consulting to empower local social enterprises and non-profit organization to enhance their communications capacity for free.
Andika Febrio Dwipayana
Director of IT
Rio was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia. After high school, he decided to move to the Winterfell of USA, Milwaukee - Wisconsin. His journey in the US started with a community college to get his Associate Degree in IT-Programmer/Analyst, went on a 10-month contract work as a Web Developer, went back to school to pursue a bachelor’s degree in information technology, and then finally landed a job as a Front-End Developer at a marketing company. Throughout his time in the US, he was heavily involved with PERMIAS Nasional, Diaspora E-Class (Web Developer for the site), and PPI Amerop (Primary Developer for the program Kamar Pelajar).
Director of Project Development
She completed her BSc in Industrial Engineering at ITB and decided to pursue MSc in Business Analytics from Imperial College London in 2016 with financial support from LPDP. In 2019, she resigned after four years working as a management consultant to live in Oxford, UK, with her husband and her baby girl. She has been with Indonesia Mengglobal (IM) in the last two years as a mentorship coordinator and will keep supporting IM this year together with the Project Development team.
Strategic Growth Advisor
A traveler who is harboring in Jakarta and currently working as a Business Development Manager for the Special Projects in OVO. He dedicates his free time in educational services through Yayasan Indonesia Mengglobal and Yayasan UWC Indonesia. In the latter organization, he is part of the National Committee that selects Indonesian high schoolers who are applying to get scholarships in the 17 United World Colleges Schools all around the globe. This role keeps on ensuring him that Indonesia will have a bright future as the younger generation shines brighter every single year. Prior to anchoring in Indonesia, he was adventuring in the USA while studying at Bucknell University.
Haryanto is a research assistant in energy security field at Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center, a Jakarta-based non-profit organization. He holds a BSc in Chemistry from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and an MSc in Environmental Sciences (minor in Economics) from Wageningen University and Research (WUR). While doing his master study, he did his internship at Kyoto University, Japan. He also played angklung with his friends in Indonesian Student Association in Wageningen (PPIW) during his time at WUR. In his free time, he enjoys watching series and youtube, playing squash, and reading books as well as Quora. Apart from that, he has an interest in environment, energy, sustainability, education, psychology, art as well as meditation.
Yogi Saputra Mahmud
Throughout his life trajectory, Yogi is always passionate about teaching and developing students’ ability and proficiency in English. He holds a Bachelor of English Education degree from the Indonesia University of Education. His continuous passion led him to pursue his Master of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Monash University, Australia, with a scholarship from Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). Yogi is now an English lecturer at President University. He has been actively writing accredited journals. His main research interests include Teacher Professional Development, Teacher Education, Teaching Methodology, and English productive skills.
Ardhi works at the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and now based in Jakarta. He graduated with a master’s degree in International Development Policy from Duke University in 2019. He was on the list of Top 10 Indonesia’s Inspiring Civil Servants by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform in 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Indonesia. He loves singing, hiking, and watching superhero movies.
Chani is a public affairs professional based between Jakarta and Stockholm. She completed her master’s degree in Asian Studies from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Bilkent University, Turkey. She previously served as the Content Director for Asia/Middle East/Africa. She likes to travel and is currently trying to establish her side-career as a YouTuber.
Shiella currently works in a strategy consultancy based in London, UK. Prior to that, she was a policy and government relations consultant in Jakarta. Shiella attained her MPA from the London School of Economics and Political Science and her Bachelor’s in Economics, Political Science, and International Studies with a Certificate in German from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In her spare time, she likes to read, sing, take a leisurely stroll and go people watching, and fall down a YouTube rabbit hole.
Alvin Qobulsyah, currently a Seoul-based full-time father and husband while accompanying her wife finishing doctoral studies at Seoul National University (SNU). During these times, he also got an opportunity to take a Master of International Studies degree program at SNU Graduate School of International Studies majoring in International Cooperation with a focus on Indonesian Migrant Workers. Completing his bachelor's degree at the Department of Political Science Universitas Indonesia, Alvin is a former news producer and video journalist at NET. Mediatama Televisi with six years of experience.
Lavinia Disa Winona Araminta
Disa proudly calls herself an applied linguist who passionately juggles scientific research and creative writing. She graduated from The University of Auckland with a Master of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics. Her zeal for education and language issues has led her to volunteering roles, such as a project manager for Indonesian Future Leaders and a mentorship director for Suryanara Foundation. Yet these services do not stop her from writing poems, novels, and movie scripts or founding an all-Indonesian choir in Auckland. She will start her PhD at Monash University in June 2020 while still aspiring to reach her dreams in performing arts, filmmaking, and literature.
Nefertiti, or Inef, is a freelance interpreter based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from UNC Asheville in 2018. After graduation, she worked several odd jobs, including a temporary position at Barnes and Noble, before finally finding a language service provider in need of an Indonesian-speaking independent contractor to work with local public schools that have English as a Second Language programs. Inef has severe sensorineural hearing loss in both ears, which has impacted her speech and communication patterns, but she refuses to be defined solely by her disability and hopes everyone can achieve their dreams of studying abroad, just as she had, no matter their circumstances.
Dini Putri Saraswati
Dini is a Lecturer in International Relations at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur and Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel Surabaya. She also writes for a bimonthly tabloid called Indonesia Expat. In 2015, she got her Bachelor of International Relations from Universitas Airlangga Surabaya. In 2017, she got a scholarship from Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan Indonesia to pursue her Master’s degree at the University of Groningen and graduated the year after. In the Netherlands, she was actively engaged in Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Groningen as well as Erasmus Student Network Groningen. She also has multifaceted interests, from the environment to politics.
Novelita W Mondamina
Novelita, or Veli for short, is an education enthusiast and has her interest in renewable energy development, particularly in bioenergy. Currently, she is working as a lecturer in Institut Teknologi Sains Bandung (ITSB) in Bekasi for palm oil processing technology program study. She graduated as BSc in Chemistry from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and MSc in Energy and Sustainability: Energy Resources and Climate Change from University of Southampton, 2016. Her Master degree was financially supported by Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). She achieved her 1st place in her training of bioenergy production in University of Applied Science, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands in 2019. She loves to travel, cook, take pictures and do graphic design as her hobbies.
Ratih Ayu Apsari
Social Media Manager
Ratih is a lecturer at Mathematics Education Department Universitas Mataram. Ratih completed her bachelor’s degree in mathematics education at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Bali). She continued her master degree in the same field at Utrecht University (Utrecht) and Universitas Sriwijaya (Palembang) with the support from STUNED and DIKTI scholarships. She got back to Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha to serve as a junior lecturer in the end of 2015 to the middle of 2019. She started a new journey at Universitas Mataram after passing the government test to be civil servant faculty member. Between her professional career schedules, she loves to write fictional stories, practice yoga and serve in voluntary programs.
Social Media Manager
Sabar Artiyono is a digital communication enthusiast. He is currently working as an editor assistant on www.kumparan.com. He believes that stories can change people’ perceptions and the world. The belief leads him to comprehend more about children's literacy by joining Gerakan Indonesia Mengajar in 2017-2018. He acted as an Education Facilitator with responsibilities in promoting literacy by teaching elementary students and collaborating with stakeholders. He likes running, for the record, he completed two half marathon races in 2016 and 2019.
Andhika Ramadhan Putra
Andhika is a student at Binus University, majoring in Computer Science (Concentration : Database) studies. Andhika has worked as a volunteer for video editing and also takes part as event planner in another association. Andhika enjoys watching football,watching some K-Dramas and editing tutorial videos to practice editing skill. And when it's Sunday, Andhika likes to ride a motorcycle with his friends. Lastly, Andhika is a cat-person.
Rana Rezeki Najeges
Rana Rezeki Najeges, usually people called her Rana. Currently, she lives in London, to obtain her Master's Degree in Engineering at University College London funded by Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). Before moving to London, she had worked for the oil and energy sector for a year upon her graduation in 2018 from Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. She is passionate about equality among accessible education in Indonesia. She believes that everyone should have an equal chance to pursue their dream in the context of education.
Mahdi Nurianto Ahmad
Mahdi Nurianto Ahmad, usually called Mahdi, finished his Master’s degree in Master of Energy at The University of Auckland, New Zealand, with a fully funded scholarship from Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP). He holds a bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and he is currently working as a management trainee at supply chain function in a multinational Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company to bring health through food to as many people as possible. In his free time, Mahdi enjoys travelling, doing sports, as well as hanging out with his friends.
Ignatius Aditya Hendrayana
Aditya is a Graduate Analyst at JPMorgan, he's responsible for digital initiatives at the firm's Corporate and Investment Banking arm in Singapore. Aditya was a former columnist and content director for Asia, Middle East, and Africa for Indonesia Mengglobal since 2017. He brings a wealth of experience in Asian higher education system, global executive professional education, as well as distance-based learning, for both STEM and Business areas. He's a proud alumnus of Nanyang Technological University Singapore, a recipient Harvard Business School of Credential of Readiness and a CFA Candidate. Aditya was born and raised in Solo and is now a resident of Semarang.
Viddy Muhammadi Naufal
Event and Partnership Manager
Viddy is an education enthusiast that professionally works as an education counselor for Nuffic Neso Indonesia. He graduated from Universitas Padjadjaran in 2015 majoring in International Relations. His background in global affairs and passion in education led him to involve in internationalization of higher education, a sector that accommodate both of his interests. To foster international collaboration of Indonesia higher education institutions and enhance student mobility are just a few of his jobs. The devotion has brought him to initiate some educational communities that include Scholarship Insight Community and Travel&Teach.
Andrew Ebeneizer Timanta
Event and Partnership Manager
He is a Management Consultant at PwC Consulting. He has been working mostly on the topics of strategy, operations, and sustainability, mainly for the public sector and international donor organization clients. He graduated from the University of Indonesia and has been awarded the Global Korean Scholarship (GKS) from the Korean Government for one-semester exchange.
What he likes about consulting is how his work can make a long-lasting impact and improving the performance of the client, especially for the public sector. Recently, he also just finished a three months secondment at PwC Thailand, on a sustainability strategy project for Thailand-state owned enterprises.
Event and Partnership Officer
Raisa is a human resources professional based in Jakarta. She graduated from Prasetiya Mulya Business School in 2011 majoring in Marketing. After graduation, she joined an HR tech startup called Bukapintu as employee #3 where she helped over 30,000 Indonesian students get career education and secure internships or entry-level jobs. Currently, Raisa leads employer branding strategy at Mekari, an Indonesian software-as-a-service (SaaS) company. She will start her master’s study in Cornell University in 2020, majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations. Raisa writes poetry for fun.
Event and Partnership Officer
Agatha is a cheerful person and people-enthusiast. She is currently finishing her study in Pharmacy Universitas Indonesia and trying to get the Apothecary license this year by practicing in Cipto Mangunkusumo hospital, feel free to contact her if you’re around. During her bachelor study, she tried to gain professional experiences by doing internship in several companies which were GSK in Pharma Marketing area, Shopee in Shopee Mall Business Development area, and Unilever in Direct Contact Consumer area.
Winda Khairani Ningtyas
Public Relations Officer
Winda currently serves as a Client Development Officer in a global consulting firm. Prior to that, she embarked on her professional career by involving in a social enterprise community -where she gradually nourished her interest in business management and community development- after graduating from International Relations Department.
Risza is part of Indonesia Mengglobal’s analytics team. He is currently based in Jakarta, working as a consultant in the Boston Consulting Group. He finished his Bachelor’s degree in Institut Teknologi Bandung majoring in Engineering Management and pursued his masters in TU Delft and RSM, Erasmus University in the Netherlands. Risza enjoys playing football, running, and playing ping-pong in his free time. Outside of sports, he also enjoys watching good movies and finding new music to listen to.
Rika is an ICT Professional, currently working in a non-profit organisation in Jakarta. She completed her master's degree in Science and Technology Policy at the University of Sussex, UK, and bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). She spent 3 years in Singapore and 1 year in South Korea working as a Software Engineer.
Zaki Indra Sukma
Zaki is currently working at GOJEK as Data Engineer in the Business Intelligence Division. He has been building data warehouses and data pipelines that serve as a foundation for data-driven culture at GOJEK. He is also the main contributor to personal data protection initiatives at GOJEK, where he builds tools to preserve privacy in data analytics. Prior to GOJEK, Zaki graduated from Gadjah Mada University in 2017, majoring in Computer Science and spent 2 years working as a Data Engineer in an e-commerce startup company in Yogyakarta.
Project Development Officer
Jen is a community development enthusiast who’s currently managing an association of international exchange programs alumnae in her hometown, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Graduated from International Relations Department of Universitas Padjadjaran in 2017 as the youngest in her batch, Jen was selected by Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sport to join a 1-year fully funded internship program in Istanbul, Turkey. Prior to that, she was also awarded by Indonesia Global Network as the recipient of Youtex Europe Scholarship Programme to Belgium, Netherland, and France.
Chaedar Indra Pramana
Project Development Officer
Chaedar earned his BSc in Petroleum Engineering from ITB in 2014. He is currently working as a project engineer. He started his volunteering journey by joining a small learning community in Bandung, where he tutored a wide range of underprivileged students. Early 2017, he joined an NGO called GREAT Indonesia, his first sustainable platform for participating in various kinds of voluntary activities. Locally, he currently serves as a camp leader in the organization who once led a work camp in West Bandung regency mainly to promote environmental awareness. In a global scale, he represented Indonesia in several events that focus on tackling some critical societal issues, such as domestic and cross-border people migration in Cambodia, economic gaps in Hong Kong, and gender equity in Uganda.
Project Development Officer
Felita has completed her Master of Science at University College London in 2015. She had worked for 2,5 years in management consulting company prior to her Master’s degree. After that, she has joined multiple startups and a project to increase income of poor Eastern Indonesian farmers. Her current focus now in the startup she joined is to increase the financial health of Indonesian. 2020 is her first year joining Indonesia Mengglobal (IM) as Project Development Officer. She loves to spend her time reading books and doing outdoor activities, such as hiking and diving, and trying to fit in her ambitious travel plan in between.
