Satrio Wicaksono

Satrio A. Wicaksono is currently a PhD student at Brown University studying Climate Science, with a focus on Indonesian past climates. He completed his undergraduate in Geology and Environmental Studies (with a certificate in International Relations) at Wesleyan University in 2010, followed by a Master’s in Geological Sciences at Brown University in 2012. Satrio was a Freeman Scholar at Wesleyan, where he was also active in the Muslims Students’ Association and served as Resident Advisor, Classroom Support Manager and Peer Advisor. When he’s not busy in the lab or doing fieldwork, Satrio can be found volunteering at a local elementary school or playing gamelan and rehearsing Javanese dance with the Brown gamelan ensemble.
