Rudi Hartono

Rudi Hartono is a Fulbright Grantee 2014 who is currently pursuing MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor's degree in English Education from Sriwijaya University in 2009. He currently works as a faculty member at Indo Global Mandiri University, Palembang. He is passionate about teaching, writing and research. His interests include teacher professional development, ESL/EFL writing, and World Englishes. He would like to strengthen his academic expertise in TESOL and be a scholar in the field of TESOL by writing scholarly articles and publish them. He was the recipient of IELSP (Indonesia English Language Study Program) scholarship by IIEF in 2008 to University of California Santa Cruz, CA. He was selected as the delegate of South Sumatera for Indonesia and Malaysia Youth Exchange Program by Ministry of Youth and Sport in 2012. He was also actively involved in several voluntary activities and received other several awards from activities during his undergraduate. He enjoys his free time listening to pop songs.
