Mujiburrahman Thontowi

Mujiburrahman was born 38 years ago in Yogyakarta. He studied Bachelor of Law in Gajah Mada University and continued his Master of Law in Diponegoro University in Semarang, Central Java. He has 15 years’ experience in disaster management in Indonesia working for various international organisations such as Save the Children, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). He was a recipient of the Young Scientist Award from Integrated Research on Disaster Risk. In 2018, he was awarded the LPDP Scholarship from the Indonesian Government to pursue a PhD in Humanitarian, Emergencies and Disaster Management Studies at Charles Darwin University.
