Imam Subkhan

Imam is a PhD student in Anthropology at University of Washington since 2015, funded by Indonesia Presidential Scholarship. He received his Master degree in Anthropology from Gadjah Mada University. His work experience in a political institution and a public service led him to study about the culture of policy making in Indonesia, which attempts to investigate how the culture of political elites constructs the state's policy as a political technology. In addition to political anthropology, his interests include Southeast Asian studies, anthropology of development, social history and political language.
